Contemporary Trends in Social Human and Natural Sciences: PTUK Participates and Patronizes the 9th International Scientific Conference


A team from Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, comprised of Al-Aroub branch Director Dr. Muheeb Abu Lawha representing the University President Prof Marwan Awartani, Dr. Joltan Hijazi, Dr. Naser Sholi, Dr. Hasan Al-Haj Hamad and Mr. Hadi Khalilia, took part in the 9th International Scientific Conference “ Contemporary Trends in Social, Human and Natural Sciences” which was held on July 17 – 18, 2018 under the sponsorship of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie and a number of renowned international institutions including Osmania University, Google Company, The Library of Congress, Arab and International conferences Network along with other related institutions. Dr. Abu Lawha expressed the University President’s greetings and thanking to the Turkish People and Government for their continuous support to the Palestinian people, and to the organizers of the conference particularly the Arab Conferences Network for their outstanding support to the educational process. He pointed out that PTUK is looking forward to gain much more support from the countries and international organizations that believe in freedom and justice to support the Palestinian people facing the challenges and obstacles that are posed by the Israeli occupation to cumber the progress of the Palestinian educational system. The University Representative also stated that Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie aims to leverage the status of the Palestinian higher education after decades of suffering from the occupation ignorance policies, in addition to the maximization of the national income throughout increasing the numbers of students in different academic programs, considering PTUK a higher education hub in the Middle East and the world. He explained that PTUK graduates represent a force multiplier to the educational system in Palestine which qualify them to compete at local, regional and international levels, adding that PTUK allocates a portion of itsbudgetfor scientific purposes. It is worth mentioning that the University proposed four research papers in the conference including: Improving Primary Education Styles using Child-Computer Interaction: A Practical Framework by Hadi Khalilia and Hasan Alhajhamad, the title of the second paper was “Investigating the Usability of 3D Interactive Mobile Applications: The Dental Clinic Case”, conducted by Hasan Alhajhamad, Hadi Khalilia and Dr. Derar Eleyan, a third paper by Dr. Naser Sholi was entitled “Genetic Stability And Virus Free Strawberry Plant Propagated Via Repeated Meristrm Culture” and the fourth paper entitled“The Effectiveness Of A Psychological Counselling Program In Alleviating Psychological Alienation And Its Impact On Improving The Quality Of Life Of University Youth In Gaza Governorates”, by Dr. Goltan Hijazi.
