The scientific Jury of the “Undergraduate Research and Innovation Conference in Engineering and Information Technology”announced the names of the winning projects(prototypes), posters and presentations in the conference which was held at Palestine Technical University- Kadoorie on Sunday and Monday. Among the winning Prototypes were the Cryptic Board project and Advertising Fan from PTUK. For the category of Posters Smart parking Management System project from Jerusalem University, Simple Method to Measure Permittivity, Musical Water Fountain from Kadoorie university and The vital Processes Monitor from Al Quds Open University system were announced as winners. At the level of electrical engineering -the category of presentations and projects The Architecture of Resistance and RC Quad Copter Control projects from Birzeit University were awarded. For the Mechanical engineering category, the 3D Printer of Birzeit and the Dump Device Project of Kadoorie University were announced the winners. As far as information technology is concerned, the projects of Face detection & recognition from Kadoorie ,the 3D game Project from the Arab American University, and The Human Computer Interface from Kadoorie were awarded. The Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of the Conference Dr. Mutamed Al- Khatib asserted that” the Commission depended on professional and international standards in their judgment, and were supervised by experts in the field of international quality”. All winning projects were awarded monetary projects, and merit awards. The university has also given participation certificates for all the students participating in the conference.
