Dr.Khitam Shriem from the faculty of Arts and Science at Palestine Technical University –Kadoorie participated in the "Mobile Learning Week - Innovating for Quality " conference which was held at the headquarters of UNESCO, Paris between 7-11 / 3/2016. This event aimed to explore the possibilities offered by technology to the development of education.
Dr. Shriem participated with a research paper on the development of teachers capacities in the educational qualification program .This method is based on the "TPACK" model to integrate mobile applications in the preparation of interactive lessons for science and mathematics .
Dr.Shriem was able to network with Prof. Sean Cross, the director of the center of Innovation and learning for portable devices in San Diego to develop the model she created and to prepare training materials to submitted for the UNESCO.
It is worth mentioning in this context that "Mobile Learning Week - Innovating for Quality " is organized annually by the UNESCO and is sponsored by global technology companies the likes of Intel, Ericsson, and Microsoft.
