The International Relations Office of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie participated in the scientific workshop organized by the European Training Foundation (ETF) on the use of artificial intelligence in education, via zoom technologies, in order to learn about the uses of artificial intelligence in the educational process and its role in developing tools for teachers.
186 participants were introduced about the tools that make education platforms adapted to reality and specialized for students at different levels, and were also trained on smart tools that are used to develop the educational content and the smart correction of exams.
Negative points of artificial intelligence in education were discussed in terms of information security, privacy, bias, non-transparency and irresponsibility in the transfer of information.
The workshop concluded significant recommendations about the need for digital development in educational institutions, the development of digital skills, literacy in artificial intelligence, the development of creative thinking and departure from the traditional pattern.
