The Deanship of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie organized a symposium under the title “FromDinosaurs to Gas Stations “within the series of Wakeb seminars for the exchange of expertise and scientific cooperation between the Palestinian academics at home and abroad in the fields of natural sciences, engineering and technology.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Jamal Al-Barghouthi- a specialist and consultant in the field of oil and oil extraction- who talked about the process of oil extraction, the impact of the quality of the soil on oil and the qualifications of good oil.
For his part, the dean of the faculty of engineering- Dr. Mutamed Al-Khatib said that the lecture was a part of “Wakeb” series which was initiated by the faculty of engineering and technology in Kadoorie University to facilitate communication between students and the local community on the one hand and Palestinian scholars in Diaspora in the other hand; which in turn will enhance the students' abilities and drive them forward towards success and creativity in their respective fields.
