Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie has recently joined in a series of workshops conducted by the scientific incubator of the Palestinian universities in cooperation with the University of Notre Dame in the United States of America.
The workshops, which were held on October 13 -14 and 20 – 22, 2018, featured an establishing project to develop a Palestinian scientific incubator in collaboration with the Palestinian universities and public and private sectors, extended for 30 months.
The University representative team included the Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Rana Samara, the Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Husein Shanak, the Director of PTUK’s Center for Agricultural Research, Dr. Nawaf Abu Khalaf, the Assistant Professor in the Computerized Engineering Systems Program, Dr. Yousif Daraghmeh, the Head of Electric Engineering Department, Dr. Mahmoud Anwar, and the Head of Business Management and E –commerce, Dr. Manal Sharabati.
The project has been initiated as an initiative value of 1 Million USD obtained by the University of Notre Dame, funded by the United States Government, aiming at establishing a Palestinian scientific research incubator in fields of medicine, public health, technology, agricultural research, and human and administrative studies to encourage joint scientific research between the Palestinian and American universities.
