Under the patronage of the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Sabri Sidem, Palestine Technical University- Kadoorie launched the World Bank funded project for integrated education 'Mihnati’.
A dream come true
The Minister of Education and Higher Education- Dr. Sabri Sidem explained that launching such a project marks the realization of the dream of integrated education, which will lead towards technical education.
In this occasion, Sidem announced the accreditation of a B.A. program in Energy Engineering in addition to the practical steps taken to unify Kadoorie’s lands in order to achieve maximum development.
Integrative education as a global model
The President of Palestine Technical University- Kadoorie Prof. Marwan Awartani explained that the integrated education project was passed by a decision of the Council of Ministers in 2017 in an attempt to provide practical training for the students beyond the classroom.
Bridging the gap
The chairman of the Federation of Palestinian Industries, Dr. Awda Zagmouri explained that this project will contribute to bridging the gap between the private sector and the educational institutions in the country.
Promotion and professional upgrading
The chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Tulkarem Ibrahim Abu Hassib explained the importance of this project in raising the professional level of Palestinian youth and bridging the gap between the outcomes of academic education and labor market needs.
MOUs
At the end of the ceremony, the coordinator of the project- Mohammed Jallad signed MOUs with a group of Palestinian companies from various fields to the project into action.
