PTUK President Prof. Marwan Awartani has signed an establishment agreement with the presidents of Hebron University, An-Najah National University and Al Quds University to set up a joint master's program in the "Profitable Agricultural Business".
The program aims to develop its applicants’ abilities in the agricultural activity management, raise the productivity of agriculture, which is one of the most important pillars of the Palestinian economy, and increase its contribution to the gross national income.
During the signing ceremony, Al Quds University’s President Prof Imad Abu Kishk congratulated the Palestinian universities for this national academic joint achievement which will open wide horizons for Palestine’s agricultural business and industry adding that the program will enhance the development of the industrial food as well as creating new job opportunities for the graduates.
Prof. Awartani explained PTUK’s long experience in the agricultural sciences over the past years, noting that the launch of the program is going to be a qualitative addition to the Palestinian society giving rise to adopting modern strategic plans for the development of agriculture Sector.
