The President of The Third International Forum on Islamic Finance declared Dr. Azmi Awad from the faculty of economics and finance at Kadoorie as a representative of Palestine which was announced the conference’s guest of honor. The conference accepted 39 research papers in the field of Islamic economics and of those Dr. Awad was selected as a representative of Palestine. Dr. Awad explained that he gave a presentation on Palestine and Kadoorie University along with a research paper on Palestinian Islamic banks Awad also referred to the honorary role ascribed to him in distributing certificates to the participants at the conference on behalf of the president of the university as the Palestinian guest of honor for the conference.
