In collaboration with the Community Knowledge and Research Library (Ma’rifa), Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie organized an information session about the graduation project, its significance, objectives, digital research tools and ways of benefit within the frame ofthe scientific research ethics.
The session aimed at directing the students towards achieving their scientific projects based on the basics of the scientific research criteria down to enriching knowledge having economic feasibilities into the community.
From his part, the President Assistant for the Public Relations and Community Affairs, Ahmad Ammar pointed out the University’s pioneering role in offering the academic conducive environment to conducting scientific research and necessary graduationprojects whichwillmeetthe future needs of the local community as well as to resolve the crises throughout implementing these entrepreneurialprojects.
Dr.NuhaIterfrom PTUK, , who prepared the student guide for graduation projects alongside with her partner Dr. MohammadDabousfrom AlIstiqlalUniversity, showed a detailed planned outline on how should graduation projects be written to sustain the project idea and be carried out for the community service.
TheMa’rafaLibrarian, JihadTholthein, gave a brief introduction of the library, whichwas establishedin 2013, highlighting its role in disseminating the knowledge across the community and providing the graduated students with the necessary facilities for scientific research purposes.
In this context,anumber of graduated students showed their experiment, by which they relied on themselves conducting their scientific researches thanking the library for providing all facilities including internet, journals and books in addition to the conducive environment for group work.
