The President of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie Prof. Nour Abu Rub participated in the First Arab Symposium on Media and Social Responsibility which was organized by Al Quds Open University – Nablus branch on Tuesday September 25, 2018. Prof. Abu Rub delivered a speech discussing his paper about “Social Responsibility within Sustainable Development” in which it epitomizes the beautiful image of the Palestinian people who could drive it towards development despite of the severe actions by the Israeli Occupation. He signified the concept of social responsibility and social accountability that achieve sustainable development, build economies, establish companies and factories, in addition to encourage investment that reduce unemployment rates and increase the individual income. He also touched upon the positive understanding of social responsibility in the Palestinian universities to find a unified strategy that guarantees excellent qualification of the young leaders who could face the future challenges.
