The President of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, Prof. Marwan Awartani convened with the senior organizers of the International Conference on Modern Trends in Physics and Mathematics in order to discuss the preparations of the next conference to be held at PTUK campus. During the meeting, Prof. Awartanigave a detailed explanation of the university's developmental efforts for the advancement of the university at the academic, staff and research levels; he also addressed the challenges the university faces as a result of the Israeli occupation continuous incursions and attacks and the permanent shooting range on the university's ground. Prof. Awartani also referred to the great effort that the university exerts in promoting scientific research and increasing opportunities for academic exchange expressing his delight for choosing PTUK as the host for the next Palestinian International Conference on Modern Trends in Physics and Mathematicsin 2018.
