Kadoorie Joins 3D-Gart Project Training in Greece and Portugal


Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie, through the Fashion Design Centre, took part in the specialized training program for the 3DGart project funded by the Erasmus+ program. This program spanned across locations in Greece and Portugal, following directives from the university's leadership and its management of projects and international collaborations. Representing the university, the delegation included Mr. Samer Sabi, the center's director, alongside Ms. Dana Qadan and Ms. Madleen Eid, both members of the center's staff. Mr. Sabi emphasized the university's commitment to engaging in diverse experiences, particularly within the professional realm. This commitment includes active participation in specialized training courses aiming at equipping employees with the requisite skills to navigate advancements in the fashion industry. Such endeavors positively impact vocational education at the center, with a specific focus on enhancing the fashion sector as a whole. Mr. Sabi further elaborated that the training sessions lasted for five days in Thessaloniki, Greece, followed by an additional five days of advanced training in Porto, Portugal. Alongside Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie, project partners from Jordan, including the University of Science and Technology and Al-Balqa Applied University, also participated in these training initiatives.
