Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie participated in the activities of the sit-in tent mounted in support of political prisoners on hunger strike, in addition to participating in a solidarity stand in front of the International Red Cross headquarters.
The event was attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs- Dr. Sa’ed Mallak, the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs-Dr. Nafie Assaf, the President and members of the employees’ syndicates, university deans, and the directors of the administrative departments.
The protesters called on the Red Cross to exercise its pressure on the Israeli occupation to end their inhuman practices against prisoners, especially the sick, and to provide them with the necessary treatment warranted by international law.
