As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance student skills and academic expertise, Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie PTUK has facilitated the participation of students from the Faculty of Information Technology and the Faculty of Arts and Educational Sciences in a global training program hosted by the University of Padua, Italy.
This initiative is part of the ICT4EDU project, funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program, and takes place from February 11 to 21, 2025.
Dr. Mahmoud Jazar, the project coordinator and director, emphasized that the training aims to develop early childhood education curricula by integrating information technology and artificial intelligence into teaching and learning processes. The workshops will focus on utilizing digital media and smart applications to foster educational creativity.
In addition to the training sessions, the program includes field visits to educational and cultural institutions in Italy, offering students a chance to gain insights into the Italian educational system and learn from its practices.
Dr. Jazar highlighted that this participation reflects the university’s commitment to providing global educational opportunities for its students, helping them refine their academic and professional skills, and equipping them to apply cutting-edge educational and technological methods in their future careers.
