A delegation from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology – Computer Engineering Department at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, represented by Dr. Anas Milhem, Head of the Computer Engineering Department, and Dr. Osama Hamed, a lecturer in the department, visited Al-Israa Model School for Boys. The visit included a meeting with the school principal, Mr. Lafi Zaqout, to officially deliver a smart application designed to streamline communication between parents and teachers.
This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to integrating technology into the educational process and strengthening educational interaction through digital tools. The application is compatible with various smartphone operating systems and leverages artificial intelligence algorithms to organize messages and deliver personalized notifications, providing a more interactive and efficient user experience.
The project was developed as part of the department’s applied graduation projects by students Malak Abu Hamed, Shaimaa Abu Hamed, and Rajaa Khattatbeh, under the supervision of Dr. Osama Hamed.
Dr. Anas Milhem emphasized that this collaboration embodies Kadoorie’s community-oriented vision and its dedication to building genuine partnerships with educational institutions. He noted that such projects offer practical applications of students’ academic learning and contribute meaningfully to the educational environment and school systems.
