The President of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie PTUK, Prof. Hussein Shanak, welcomed Palestinian businessman Hosni Younis—owner of Hosni Younis Plastic Factory in Baqa al-Sharqiya, Tulkarm—along with his family, in the presence of Vice President for Administrative Affairs Prof. Rizq Estaita, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Educational Sciences Dr. Ahmad Ammar, Director of the President’s Office Mr. Mahmoud Kmeil, Director of the Media Department Mr. Jibreel Hajja, and the Public Relations and Media staff. The meeting addressed avenues of cooperation between the university and the factory, particularly in the field of student training and strengthening partnerships with private-sector institutions, in addition to reviewing the university’s progress and ongoing development efforts. Prof. Shanak expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Younis for his generous initiative of donating hundreds of chairs and tables to support the university environment. He emphasized that such a contribution reflects the spirit of belonging and national responsibility of Palestinian business leaders and plays a significant role in improving the university’s facilities and empowering its students. For his part, Mr. Younis expressed his pride in PTUK as the State’s University that embraces outstanding students and provides an attractive academic environment. He stressed the importance of continuing cooperation with the university and offering all possible support to advance its educational and developmental mission.
