PTUK Participates in Launch of Digital Bridges Project in Tallinn


Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie PTUK participated in the launch of the Digital Bridges project at Tallinn University of Technology in Estonia, held under the EU-funded Erasmus+ program. The opening meeting took place on 6–7 November 2025 with representatives from partner universities and institutions from several countries. The meeting brought together representatives from Palestine, Morocco, Tunisia, Estonia, Spain, and Italy, where participants reviewed the project’s work plan and discussed ways to advance digital transformation in higher education through curriculum development, enhanced research collaboration, and the implementation of joint programs with practical impact. Dr. Mahmoud Jazar, the project director, delivered an introductory presentation on PTUK, highlighting its completed and ongoing international projects. He outlined the university’s role in the Digital Bridges initiative, which aims to develop and accredit multidisciplinary programs, strengthen digital competencies, and enhance civic technology skills among students, staff, and stakeholders. Dr. Jazar emphasized the project’s importance in modernizing academic programs by integrating information technology across diverse disciplines, facilitating knowledge exchange, and reinforcing partnerships among participating universities and institutions—ultimately maximizing impact and supporting broader progress in the field of digital transformation.
