Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie PTUK, through the Faculty of Information Technology – Department of Artificial Intelligence, organized RoboTech Day in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, the Student Council, and the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence Committee.
The event was attended by Prof. Rizq Estaita, Vice President for Administrative Affairs; Dr. Mahmoud Ismail, Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Neshat Al-Jallad, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence; Dr. Areej Jaber, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence; along with a large number of university staff and interested students.
Dr. Areej Jaber explained that the event aimed to provide students enrolled in the Robotics course and those majoring in Artificial Intelligence with an opportunity to present their applied projects to the academic community. She noted that the initiative seeks to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, promote project-based learning, and enhance students’ communication and teamwork skills. She added that RoboTech Day is part of a series of planned activities within this framework.
The event featured presentations of several innovative projects in the fields of robotics and intelligent systems, reflecting the learning outcomes of academic courses and their role in preparing students for the labor market, while fostering creativity, innovation, and engagement with modern technologies within the university.
RoboTech Day targeted students of the Information Technology faculties, academic staff members, and those interested in artificial intelligence and robotics. The event served as an interactive scientific platform for exchanging expertise and showcasing outstanding student achievements.
