Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie PTUK signed today a cooperation agreement with the Tulkarm Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its partners, Fajr TV and Guest Pro Event Company, to host the Third Tulkarm Trade Festival, themed “We Rebuild It” The festival will take place over four days starting on October 20, featuring dozens of local companies and national products, along with visitors from across the Palestinian governorates and the 1948 occupied territories. The agreement was signed by PTUK President Prof. Hussein Shanak on behalf of the university, and Mr. Qais Awad, President of the Chamber of Commerce, in the presence of representatives from the partner organizations, event organizers, and a number of local institutions. On this occasion, Prof. Shanak emphasized that hosting the festival aligns with the university’s community-oriented mission to strengthen ties with the private sector and support the national economy. He stated: “PTUK opens its doors to all national initiatives that contribute to promoting Palestinian products and showcasing youth potential and entrepreneurship in Tulkarm and across the country.” For his part, Mr. Qais Awad, President of the Chamber of Commerce, expressed his appreciation to PTUK for hosting the festival and for its continuous support of economic and social initiatives. He affirmed that this partnership reflects the spirit of collaboration between educational institutions and the private sector and contributes to the success of the festival as a national platform to showcase Palestinian production and strengthen community connections.
