Ramallah: Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie PTUK, represented by its President Prof. Hussein Shanak, signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with the Palestinian Media Development Network, represented by its Chairman Mr. Yousef Al-Karnaz, at the university’s Ramallah branch, in the presence of representatives from both institutions. The MoU aims to strengthen joint cooperation in the fields of media and digital journalism, and to develop the skills of students and graduates through the implementation of training programs, workshops, and specialized seminars focused on topics such as artificial intelligence in media, investigative journalism, and misinformation verification. It also includes provisions for providing media and technical services that support the university’s activities and expand its media presence. PTUK reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to building strategic partnerships with community institutions, particularly in the media sector, in line with the rapid pace of digital transformation. The university emphasized its dedication to offering specialized training and capacity-building opportunities for media students and graduates, enabling them to engage effectively and professionally in the media labor market.
