PTUK Contributes to International Investigation on Environmental Challenges in the Palestinian Territories Published by Leading Global Media Platforms

In a milestone that reflects the growing international academic and research presence of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie (PTUK), the University contributed to the scientific review of an international investigative report examining the environmental impacts of Israeli practices in the Palestinian territories through the involvement of researchers from its Faculty of Agricultural Engineering.

The scientific review was conducted by Dr. Basel Al-Natsheh and Engineer Safaa Hamdan from the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, whose expertise helped strengthen the report’s scientific rigor and credibility.

Their contribution underscores PTUK’s commitment to leveraging academic knowledge in addressing national and environmental issues of global significance.

The investigation was initially published by The New Arab and was subsequently republished by the Green European Journal, a prominent European platform specializing in environmental and public policy issues.

This wider dissemination expanded the report’s reach to European and international audiences while highlighting Palestinian academic expertise within global discussions on environmental justice and sustainability.

This achievement aligns with PTUK’s ongoing efforts to promote the scholarly contributions of its researchers and expand the University’s visibility on international platforms.

It further reflects PTUK’s role as a leading academic institution dedicated to producing impactful knowledge, advancing scientific excellence, and contributing to the global understanding of issues affecting Palestinian society and the environment.
